| One thing about
installing a new laptop battery: After installing a new laptop
battery, make sure to "deep cycle" the battery at least 4 – 5 times to
ensure long battery life. Fully charge the battery to 100%. Disconnect
AC power supply, and run on battery until Low Battery Level warning
(usually set to 10%). Plug in and fully charge. Disconnect power
adapter and use on battery power until the Low Battery Level warning.
Do this 4 or 5 times. This puts the battery cells in long life mode.
Failure to do this will result in a shorter battery time, and shorten
battery life. |
